Inspired by countless walks and ski tours in the mountains of Valle d'Aosta, On Shoulders of Giants is a song about perspective, gratitude and recognising that none of us gets where we are entirely alone.

Blending gentle folk influences, soaring vocal harmonies and a slice of jazz, it's the second single from the upcoming album The Silence is Deafening. I hope you enjoy it. Irene x

"Animal" is the first glimpse into my upcoming fifth album, The Silence is Deafening. The upcoming release unveils a darker, guitar-driven sound described as “noir jazz meets Massive Attack”.

Filmed at the legendary Real World Studios, founded by Peter Gabriel, this video captures ISQ performing On Shoulders of Giants in the beautiful surroundings where we recorded The Silence Is Deafening. Working at Real World was a real privilege, thanks to its extraordinary history, facilities and the incredible professionalism and care of everyone who works there.
