“Dazzling Pianist” - The Times

The newest member of ISQ, Naadia Sheriff is a consummate Jazz pianist but can turn her gifted hand to most musical styles.

Since graduating from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama Naadia has become an established performer on the British Jazz scene working both in London and internationally with many different performers. She also works as a musical director, composer and arranger and educator. 

As a collaborator and MD she has worked most recently with singer Kate Dimbleby with whom she has performed widely on both sides of the Atlantic and on radio and film, touring amongst other shows a biopic of 60’s singer ‘Dory Previn’. The sound track reached no. 3 in the iTunes Jazz chart.

Radio appearances include Later with Jools Holland, BBC Woman’s Hour and ‘In Tune’ and Gaby Roslin’s London show. Her playing has also taken her to perform Off Broadway in New York. Naadia is a founder member of Yazz Ahmed’s Hafla Band and currently performs all over the world with them. She is also an educator and examines for The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
